Visual journey

Designed to be seen.

We shaped how GDG UoS shows up: on screens, on stage, and in every member's hands.

  1. Social Media & Event Content
Promotional posters for the Arabic & Technology and Ramadan Village events. Motion graphics for the GDG Opening Ceremony and Qiskit Fall Fest 2025. Every piece made to stop the scroll on Instagram and TikTok.
  2. Team & Member Designs
4 team covers. 4 member templates. 35+ personalized posters, one for every member and the chapter advisor. As the community grew, our designs grew with it, all the way to printed member tags.

A Speech About Creativity, Community & Finding What You Love

At the GDG Opening Ceremony, Rawan Hijazi, shared her journey with art and design, from the childhood moments that shaped her to the work she creates today, and encouraged students to keep exploring until they find what they love.

Rawan wearing a pink hijab and black dress with a denim jacket stands on a stage holding a microphone, speaking in front of a presentation slide displaying her photo and information. Three paintings rest on the floor behind her, and a University of Sharjah flag is visible to the right.

Built through feedback.

Design for a community is never made alone. Every piece went through collaboration, feedback, and refinement. Along the way, we:

  1. Adapted designs to team feedback and real-world needs
  2. Prepared every file for its format, from social posts to printed tags
  3. Took the identity off the screen and into booths and workshop spaces
  4. Continued designing for new members as the community grew.

"Rawan is dedicated and outstanding, combining creativity, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility. She has shown remarkable talent in art and design, earning several awards that reflect her artistic ability. Her community work also highlights her initiative, teamwork, and commitment to making a positive contribution. I am confident her ambition, creativity, and determination will continue to lead her to great success, and I highly recommend her."
